Dr. Wilson has been honored by both the Canadian and British Columbia Psychological Associations for his "Outstanding contributions to the field of Applied Psychology in Canada". He has published a dozen articles in professional journals, authored chapters in three books, co-authored a series of five self-help books for the Canadian Mental Health Association, and has been an invited presenter at national and international conferences on Mental Health.

Under Dr. Wilson, Human Solutions™ has grown from a two person Vancouver-based operation in 1979 to a global leader and one of the largest employee health and wellness firms in Canada.  Dr. Wilson’s past and present credits and distinctions include:

  • developing the first psychological health benefit in Canada in 1979 following 16 years service as a clinical psychologist with the provincial government of British Columbia
  • twice past president of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
  • drafted the legislation which registered psychologists in British Columbia in 1977
  • past president of the Advisory Council of Provincial Associations of Psychologists
  • fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)
  • chairman of the Applied Division of the Canadian Psychological Association
  • member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Psychological Association for ten years
  • member of the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • member of the Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology
Greg Banwell
PhD., R.Psych.

Dr. Banwell’s professional activities have included consultation to industry leaders on the management of change and human resource policy, organizational research for strategic planning, design of management development programs, the design of psychological assessment programs, as well as assessment of executives and senior management. He has also been recognized for his facilitation skills for organization crisis, key meetings and planning sessions, and conflict resolution.

Dr. Banwell has been active throughout his career in professional affairs and community life. He is a past president of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia, a statutory body, and has been on the Board of Directors of Arts Umbrella for Children in Vancouver for 17 years.  He graduated with a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa.
